Description: Rules are simple: paint and post every day in April. Painting from life is highly encouraged but not a necessity; if you prefer painting from photos – go for it. This year, recommended themes are:𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝘼𝙦𝙪𝙖, 𝙄𝙣𝙙𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡, and 𝙉𝙤𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚.
Extra note 1: I have warm feeling towards this particular art challenge. This is the first (and only 😅) monthly art challenge I managed to complete up ’till now. It was hard, but worth it. These 30 days of drawing everyday really transformed my artstyle and I learn a lot. Plus, by sheer accident, I got 1,200 Instagram followers.
Extra note 2: One thing I found very interesting is that this year, the organizers of the Plein Airpril art challenge are collaborating with Cara. Cara is a new social media and portfolio platform for artists . One of its standout features is the capability to filter out AI-generated images, fostering a safer space for human artists to share their work.
